Promoting dignity and self-sufficiency as they transition to civilian life.

This partnership with Bank of America will enable VLI to expand its volunteer program, a critical component of the organization’s success. Volunteers and interns assist staff attorneys in managing caseloads, conducting research, and creating safe spaces for veterans to share their stories. This collaborative effort ensures the high quality and quantity of legal services VLI provides daily.
Volunteering and Financial Education Initiatives
Bank of America’s support extends beyond the grant. Its Better Money Habits curriculum provides tailored financial education sessions to help veterans with savings, credit establishment, and homeownership. These sessions can be conducted virtually or in person, tailored to meet the needs of VLI’s clients.
Educational and Professional Development Opportunities
Through the Academy, Bank of America’s award-winning education and professional development organization, VLI staff and volunteers can access free live virtual educational workshops. These offerings are designed to build skills, inspire career confidence, and foster economic mobility.
Driving Impact Webinar Series
VLI will benefit from Bank of America’s Driving Impact Webinar Series, which provides nonprofit leaders with tools, resources, and expertise to drive community impact. These webinars cover leadership development, nonprofit sustainability, and innovative approaches to economic mobility.
